Centrally located this hotel is directly opposite the Motor point venue. It's foyer is unusual and a great adaptation of existing buildings however the rooms and equipment in them are starting to look a little ragged around the edges. Onsite parking is VERY limited and nearby suggested parking (St David's) is on the expensive side. Overall not a bad place to stay but with a bit more attention to detail could be a great place.

Reasonably priced and a comfortable room. A bit noisy, big road outside, but I was too tired for it to have any effect! Nice breakfast but the coffee is a bit mediocre. Still all in all would definitely recommend.

As always, the Park Inn by Radisson, whilst Radisson's cheaper brand, is heads above similar level hotels of other chains. The only reason I am not rating five stars is the plumbing issue I had every time I stay there, including now, namely water slow to go down in sink, and the state of the shower which could do with replacing. Also, did not get the free water in the room as a Silver Radisson Rewards member, which I did at Park Inn by Radisson in Manchester. The armchair upholstery was also ripped. But breakfast was nice and service good. Nicolai at reception was friendly and efficient on check-out.

Great location in the centre of Cardiff, car parking is run by Parking Eye and costs 14 per 24hrs, check-in was at 15:00hrs fast and efficient pleasant staff, stayed in room 110 which overlooked a busy road junction but noise was minimal found the beds a bit hard but other than that room was well appointed as was the bathroom, tea/coffee making available, room was clean but looks a bit jaded only gave you 4 stars as room could have done with a fridge and heating needed a degree to work it out plain thermostat would suffice. All in all a good stay it's been a few years since our last visit and a great location for the Motorpoint Arena opposite, did not use the restaurant but plenty locally as well as shops and places to visit, would recommend and use again in the future and reasonably priced.

Breakfast was overpriced and not nearly up to the standard one would expect from this kind of hotel. They didn't even serve fried eggs with the breakfast. The main bugbear though is the appalling lack of parking. A very very small number of first come first served spaces under the hotel. I had my disabled father with me and it is a 5 minute walk from the front of the hotel to the adjacent (and expensive) multi storey car park. I also had a selection of musical instruments and amplifiers as I am a musician. After being completely soaked twice, my humour was a little stretched to put it mildly. My advice - find somewhere better. Sorry, it's fairly blunt, but that's what I think.
