Noisy hotel not from the pub downstairs but creaky floorboards and slamming doors. Hardly slept due to the hard mattress and lumpy pillows. The shower was tiny I'm 5ft and found it uncomfortable to shower in. The breakfast was good and had a great selection of cereals pastries nad drinks. The staff were lovely friendly and helpful.

Lovely big, clean room with nice leafy view over Cathedral Rd. Great location just near the park and a short walk into town. Secure parking. Staff in the morning at the breakfast bar could have asked us if there was anything extra we wanted instead of just asking for the room no! There was - we ordered a tasty cooked breakfast at reasonable price. The buffet was decent, varied (nice fruit salad and croissants) and included in the room price. Maybe think about making real coffee available with breakfast not instant? All in all though a good place.
Very relaxed and homely. Helpful and attentive staff without being in your face. Big comfy rooms, great breakfast! Continental plus! Short walk to the City and close to everything.Would stay there anytime!
