I Have had Hyundai cars for a long time bought my first one at Evan William JR I had no problems great service but I have had different experience with Wessex. My I20 went in for its first service and for my phone charger to be fixed 1/11/2018 what an awful experience and this was not the first time.I was told my car would be ready by 17.00 the to be told by another service representative that the car would have to be in for 2 days at around 16.00 on same day I was contacted and said my car was ready I explained that I could not pick up car as I was starting work in a couple of hours as I work nights it was agreed that I would pick up car after finishing work at about 07.30 Was contacted by service department on my way to pick up car and was told by voice mail that my car was still on ramp and was not ready tried to contact Wessex service department but could not get through as the automated voice told me the garage was not open tried to contact service department after 0800 no answer finally spoke to service at 0840 was told my car would be ready in 20 min told them was going to bed as been on nights picked my car up at 1800 Will be cancelling my service plan with Wessex as going elsewhere as this is not the first time this has happened will be buying my next Hyundai at Hutchings
We swapped up from an i10 to an i20 to get more space when we found out we were expecting a baby. The car is great. It runs really well and is very reliable. Ive been very happy with both of the Hyundai cars. The service was fantastic. Jamaul looked after us very well and everyone that we spoke to was polite and helpful.
We eventually decided to lease a vehicle this time as opposed to buying one, as we have done all our lives. Having visited Wessex Hyundai Cardiff previously, and having met their sales representative, Adam Richards, we were drawn back to them due to Adams overall manner and professionalism. No hard sales pitch or pressure, just calm reassurance and an understanding of our wishes, coupled with expert knowledge of the vehicles and various processes involved in acquiring either a new or used car. All options were fully explained and our needs were catered for. We were then introduced to their financial person, Brian Hutton. Again, the process was fully and patiently explained. We signed on the dotted line and have a brand new Hyundai Tucson for 3 years. We have seldom, if ever, had better dealings when acquiring a car. The service was exemplary. Friendly and courteous staff. The experience has been superb. We highly recommend.
