Dont join this gym unless you fancy getting your personal property stolen off the gym floor by other members, only for management to tell you theres nothing they can do as theres no CCTV and the cameras that are on the gym floor are dummy cameras and dont even work. Absolutely appalling.
Avoid. Lies about joining offers which they wont honour even with a confirmation email. Showers are always cold and it is by far clean in the gym. Disappointed to say all the bad reviews on here are spot on.
This review is of DW as a compamy and not just this specific gym. If you are thinking of signing up with them be warned! They are scammers, they are rude, they have to morals, no customer service to speak off, no ethics and they completely disregard consumer rights. Their contracts are illegal and in breach of consumer rights act. Yet they try to enforce them by harassing people and instructing debt collectors. My review is not the only one to say this, so this is a wide spread practice for them. If you think of signing up with them - don't! You will live to regret it when they won't let you cancel and harras you 3 years down the line. If you already signed up and want to cancel, report them to Citizen Advice Bureu. They will report then to trading standards. The more reports they get, the sooner they will act.
Been a member for 6 months and have enjoyed all facilities on offer, the showers are always hot and working as well as the jacuzzi and sauna . I find it a lovely place to workout or relax.Well done to all staff.
Decent equipment since the much-needed upgrade, but more often than not weights are left on machines or strewn dangerously around the gym with the culprits receiving no sanction whatsoever from staff who are nearby. Incredibly frustrating.Music is far too loud and intrusive. I've had to invest in expensive noise-cancelling headphones which still don't quite drown it all out. The toilets and sink area are frequently dirty. This is turn leaves a foul suspicion about the cleanliness of the equipment. I've never used the pool or steam room for these reasons.Completely random opening hours around bank holidays, which has led to several wasted trips. On the plus side, the off-peak membership is generous in terms of access and the gym is spacious with plenty of free parking. Finally, I keep being emailed about membership offers, which is more than a little annoying given as I'm already a member so unable to take advantage. Some basic marketing skills wouldn't go amiss.I'm exploring alternatives and I suggest you do too.
