Trying to book a rental online for 14/01-18/01...At first search I am being told that the Roath store has availability and will allow me to book a hire car. LV have given me a code to use online for cheaper rental... So I cancel and insert the code. I'm now told that the dates I have requested at the same branch has nil availability... I remove the code and oh look... There's a plethera of cars to chose from. I'll find another option. You've lost out on a customer. Well done.
Not happy at all, they scared me to buy extra insurance to cover if any sctrach or small dents happens to the car. The guy said it is a company policy that every small dent they would charge 1,150 each, this is ridiculous. Imagine you rent a car and at the end of the day, you have 3-4 dent or sctrach due to stone chips, you end up paying 4 to 5,000.!!!! They sold me extra insurance for 31 a day to cover it. Unbelievable.
