Excellent caring veterinary service
Absolutely appalling service , absolutely discussed, the vet didnt have a clue what she was doing and RUDE wasnt the word. Inexperienced and running a clinic independently, five years training and you dont know how to handle a rat!!!! Every vet ive spoken to say their is more in their training than their has ever been before, the nurse wasnt great either. with the way they conducted themselves when it came to handling my rat, compassion and empathy didnt exist, nurse said she wouldnt train or advise anyone to . Appalling clinical standards and clinical area wasnt spotless, vet tried to refuse me being presant while my pet was put to sleep, didn't have a clue what they were doing, honestly it was really awful didnt believe my animal was put to sleep properly, inappropriate container for gassing. And your telling me if a small animal come through the door and needed emergency treatment or surgery , youd turn them away. Three words, duty of care!!!!!!!
I have no problem with the veterinary care but they seem completely incapable of running on time, often keeping you waiting over 30 minutes past your appointment time without any apology. Coupling this with the difficulty of finding on road parking in the area makes for a frustrating experience sometimes.
If youre looking for the most expensive vets in Cardiff with the rudest staff then Marlborough Vets is the place to go. Each time Ive visited the receptionists also fail to have any change. Some would say this is deliberate Shame as the vets themselves are pretty good but the overpricing is disgraceful Top tipDont buy Frontline or Program here as theyre 20 more expensive than eBay or the local Pharmacies on Wellfield and Albany Road.
I've been using these for most of my dogs life, they knew of her so I used them when the time came to have her put down with ashes returned, regardless of the high price. Firstly I was quoted the wrong price & then told it would be 80 more! The tough day came and they made us wait 15 mins after the appointment which was obviously hard under the circumstances. Then after she was put to sleep we were told to take our time, say bye & call them when we were done. A few minutes later the vet came back in and made us feel rushed. So we left the room rushed, upset & paid the high cost with no sympathy, just a request for payment. We were repeatedly told 1 week and we'd have the ashes back, I called after a week and was told no and they would call us! 2 weeks later we had to call & finally got her ashes back. We were also rudely told it's always been 2 weeks and not a week! I feel so let down & I'll never use them again and I'll tell my big circle of family and friends to avoid.
