Bought a scratchcard, it won only 3. Went to cash it in to be told that Asda hadn't activated it.. Called Asda and having spent 6mins going through automated system and unanswered calls, I now feel I've spent more time and money trying to retrieve a mere 3. Bad customer services

This is a 24 hour store but customer services cant help customers until 8.00 am. The computerised return machine for on line shopping does not start working until, 8.00am. Loads of staff but apparently nobody trained enough to take back an on line box of goods. Had to hang around for half an hour. The reason I had to return the goods was because everything I had ordered was damaged when it arrived. Wont be shopping on line with Asda again. Some customer service!!
Asda store itself is great, but the cafe part is poor. we go in there from work at about 6pm a whole hour be for the shut and they won't do certain food. like today we had a pizza and asked for fries the woman turned round and said "o I haven't got any" so I asked "would you be able to cook some" and she replied " not really as we're closing soon" baring in Mind she just stated it would be a 20 min wait for the pizza which was fine because we were planning on feeding our baby anyway. Then 2 more customers after us wanted fries which she still basically refused to cook any.this isn't the first time this has happened in this place.
A decent, large supermarket. Cafe is mediocre, but staff are pleasant and helpful. Great variety of products available, as you would expect from a store this size. There is a pharmacy here, which is really helpful, and the on-site post office, which is open in Sundays is a fab addition.
