The stadium formerly named Millennium stadium was built for field sports such as rugby and football (soccer), but is also used for music, boxing and racing - bike and monster truck cars. It has a roof for the rain, and is perfectly situated near rail and motor passes for when nearing hundred thousand descend on Cardiff for the stadium and its surrounding bars.
A great stadium for a great rugby team! Food is a bit limited inside the stadium, the drinks are okay. On match days they dont let you take any of your own drink in anyway. Flow in and out of the stadium was excellent, the one thing to watch for the queues for the railway station after any large game or concert.
We had a wonderful tour of this great rugby stadium this afternoon. Our tour guide Steve was brilliant - very funny yet very informative! We saw both dressing rooms, as well as walking to the pitch side and the royal box. The tour took an hour and a half and the time went by very quickly. For 12.50 it's hard to beat and much better than any football stadium. It's in a very good location too - right beside the city centre. Great stuff! Highly recommended!
