Was a fantastic few hours spent playing with physics...one of these places should exist in every city...we did visit it during a school visit, which limited us a little bit, but still fantastic. (probably best to check if there are any schools visiting before you arrive)
Techniquest is a science and discovery centre crammed full of exciting interactiveexhibits in the heart of Cardiff bay. Itis aimedmostly at children but there is plenty of scientific funto behad here for absolutely anyone of any age.At just 29 for a family of 5Techniquestisfairlygood value for a day out even with the additional cost of 1.50 per a person for the planetarium - which I would recommend trying at least once. There is acoffee shop and gift shop on site and the toilet facilities are clean and regularly maintained. Well worth a visit if you are in Wales!!
A brilliant place to take a curious mind. Lots of science made fun. Children. Love the interactive nature. So much to do. Staff are amazing, gladly explain concepts and how things work. A great place for adults and children!!
This place is a great for kids and is not to bad for adults also! Myself and a few of the family went there on the weekend and we had a great time. The youngest of the group was only 2, and although he didn't unstand any of the science involved, he had a ball running around, pressing things, pulling things putting balls in tubes and watching them shoot up 20 feet etc. All the grown ups, myself included, had good fun helping the kids out with the trickier tasks and watching them enjoy themselves in an safe and educational environment. There is also a cracking little cafe!! Bravo
A very good place to go to for a family day out, especially if you are scientific minded...We loved it so much, spent there almost a whole day and still a lot to do there...I strongly recommend it to families with autistic children, but try school term time Saturdays, as it's less crowded and more likely be able to try everything without standing in a queue...Absolutely loved it! :)
