I encountered a worker of city moves driving a van with your logo on it today. I was in a lane that had to merge into the lane your worker was in, I had my daughter in the back of the car and he refused to let me in. He was revving his car and almost hitting mine while swearing and making hand gestures at me. The road markings stated I had to merge lanes! Such unprofessional behavior. If I ever need a moving company I will not be using this one!
Awful. Used them for a domestic move and an international one and they only got worse. The first time the movers were very unprofessional, swearing and shouting. When they delivered the furniture into the new house they dented a hole in the freshly painted wall. The second time was company paid for, they were even worse this tome. Put holes in every single wall they moved furniture past (not an exaggeration they did 300 worth of damage). They also packed everything although when we arrived in Madrid prettt much everything delicate was broken, picture frames smashed, china broken etc. Stay clear if you want anything to survive a move.
Fantastic service! Friendly and hardworking... 2 guys lee and derek drove to our house in Bristol packed the van themselves and drove to Newport and then unpacked the van! Wouldnt let me or my partner help so we made them tea and coffee and bought them doughnuts!! Amazing guys definitely recommend them!!!
Very poor service. The surveyor who came to look at the house very briefly looked in the rooms, he probably spent about 5 minutes with us, if that. He didn't look outside at the patio furniture. We told him that we would be taking a 2 car loads of the really fragile stuff down ourselves. However we ended up taking 7 (which the company didn't know). With that he told us how many boxes he thought it would be. I questioned his guess but was reassured that it would be enough. I trusted him, why wouldn't I he does it for a living. However on the day of the move a transit van and a Luton van arrived.I instantly didn't think it was enough space but again trusted the company. The two guys who arrived were amazing. Very polite and professional but it became apparent that there wasn't enough space. The two guys called their office and were told to tell me to 'priorities' ie. what items did we want to leave behind. I spoke to the gentleman in the office, he was rude and not in any way understanding, he told me to stop being stressed and threatened to stop talking to me. He wouldn't take my concerns or my point of view on board. He just told me that it was our fault. Which I found difficult to take in. I trusted there 'professional' surveyor who couldn't be bothered to look properly. The end result was that we had to leave some items behind, luckily our neighbours held onto our items for us. I collected them myself at a later date.I would NEVER use or recommend this company again. Which is a shame because the two guys who actually moved us were really nice and sympathetic.
Moved recently and hired city moves for this. They were extremely professional, friendly and on time to sort the whole thing. We had issues getting our sofa into the new place and they undid the feet themselves and got it in very easily. They also took good care of our glass and fragile items and placed them securely in our new place.All in all a very smooth and nice experience. Would go back to them again in the future.
