Arrived here after flying for nearly 24 hrs coming from Australia back in Aug. Would of been nice if they had more undercovered seating.
Staff were clueless about the whereabouts of the buses, when explained that the driver of the bus drove past the bus stop they had no answers for me other than they will put me on the next bus
I got the coach from,and Cardiff to Gatwick.lovely drivers and the coach was very clean,and all booked through the Cardiff office.10/10
What a RIP OFF a 20% increase on SENIOR COACHCARDS now costing 12.00 from 10 when purchased over the counter.They are giving a lame excuse that it is BOOKING FEE, what is the 10 used up on? The BOOKING OFFICE " Sophia Gardens" being in the Capital of Wales, National Express justifies this 20% increase because they have to pick a blank card enter your name and a date and hand it over the counter to one self. WHAT ELSE WOULD THE STAFF BE DOING.There is no way round as on line they can justify posting the card for 12.50. Surely OAP could have a 3 yr pass like the Rail Way provides at a reasonable cost and therefor reduce paper work and plastic pollution.What else can they charge 50p to use the toilet? ; 5 for a suitcase?.
Dreadful experience. No facilities to get a cuppa or a sandwich whilst waiting for the coach. As I was travelling on my own, it felt a bit intimidating being dropped off in the middle of a park and not the city centre. Quite a trek to and from city centre whilst carrying luggage. Would have expected more than a seating area in the middle of a field for a city that's trying to encourage people to come to major events there. Definitely not a place for those of us with arthritic knees!
