A great very convenient train station for people around the are. A train every ten minutes or so to the city centre with a return ticket costing only 2. Don't need to buy a ticket at the station as you can buy one at the other end.

For trains towards Bargoed or Rhymney, you will have to buy a ticket on the Train.
