Great for breakfast and plenty of choice. Very quirky interior set in a beautiful building. Parking is close by (you need to pay) and you can walk off any overindulgence around the bay.
Perfect dinner! Booked a table for 7PM for 2 people I went with my mum. We had the rosemary and garlic bread to start and we both had a steak each! My mum had sirloin and I had the rib eye which was delicious! Then for desert the waiter recommended the chocolate bomb desert to me which sounded great so I opted for that! Food was quickly served and was also piping hot which was great. The evening was made by our waiter Gareth, he was great and so helpful always asking if we would like anything else and topping up my mum's prosecco. What a credit to the restaurant he is! Thank you Bills for a lovely evening and we will most definitely be returning.
We had a lovely visit to Bill's in Cardiff Bay this week, mostly because it's probably the most friendly branch we've been to and we do like a trip to Bill's...Service was great, food was lovely and a great atmosphere... I would just say and have always thought it's a little over-priced.Still definitely worth a visit
Had a lovely lunch today. What makes this place, apart from the food, is the staff. The young waiter, Ioan, I had was very helpful from opening the door to the simple preemptive things he did. V. Impressive customer care from someone so young. It's these things that matter when you are on your own with a 1 year old!
Have been here twice now and have left disappointed each time. The first was error after error which felt like a comedy sketch where our table wasn't ready for 45 minutes from our booked time, orders were not taken correctly (for a Christmas meal with 13 people it's confusing enough as it is) and the food was not be standard I expected. Family wanted to go there earlier this year so I went and thought I'd get something basic they couldn't get wrong..... We'll I thought they couldn't get wrong.....the burger I ordered was very dry and burnt I couldn't finish it. Definitely a place I won't return to. I have to say, the waiters I had the last time I went were brilliant and nothing bad to say about them at all but the quality of food is just not what I'd expect.
