Have had to send about a dozen small parcels since the beginning of the year and each time I've had problems. Firstly, the actual Post Office is often closed - their so-called 'lunch break' varies daily from any time between 11:45 am and 2:30 pm without warning, which isn't helpful. When it's closed they won't allow you to post large letters or small packages on the normal shop counter either. The Wednesday before last was ridiculous - the Post Office was yet again closed, but the older guy (possibly the father?) decided to let people post their packages. The queue was going round the centre isle & out the door! When he took my 6 large letters / packages he didn't bother weighing them & didn't check that they'd fit in the letter-sizer and just stuck a 1st Class stamp on them all! I questioned it as I knew they were more than a letter but he said it was fine. Lo & behold I got a load of emails from people I'd sent my items to saying they either didn't receive their items or had to pay extra postage to collect them. THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. You're providing a service! Also, I asked for Proof of Postage but he forgot & because it was so busy I felt I couldn't ask him to do it again as people in the queue behind were getting fed up. I'm going to put in a formal complaint to Post Office Ltd as this is not good enough. It put me out of pocket in issuing refunds & gave me a bad reputation as a seller.

The lady who works at the post office here has to be one of the most rude and unpleasant people I have met in my entire life. The post office here unfortunately ruins an otherwise decent store and pharmacy.

I've been here twice now to collect parcels from the post office. Both times the shop has been open, but the post office at the back has been closed (despite the royal mail website showing it as open). The guy behind the counter has rudely refused to get my package both times despite him not being busy. So I guess phone before you go if you want to use the post office.

They may be open till seven but wont sell you a stamp after five thirty!

Extremely poor service by this post office, was given counterfeit money in store and made to feel as if I was the one at fault, then told to shut up, be quiet in front of other customers. Raised the complaint with a gentleman who was the manager in store, Inrahm I believe must have been his name,he told he had to call his father who had just gone out. Disappointed with their complaints procedure and for not taking ownership of the issue and rather passing on the bucket... Very dissatisfied with this premises.
