Not as much people as there used to be, and after renovation it doesnt look any better honestly saying i liked the old design way much more.

Absolutely love this place, best club to go in cardiff, although theres not much place on the dancefloor..
Really sub par music. Super expensive drinks. Unfriendly staff. The guy in the toilets was lovely
Well I was appalled by the treatment I received from security on entrance to Retro in Cardiff. As it came to my turn to walk in the one said 'not you ' and I giggled because I thought he was joking. It was made apparent he certainly was not joking and I was confused and asked why. He said your drunk. I questioned his response and said I have just arrived in Cardiff a few hours ago by train to meet the rest of my party and that I certainly was not drunk. He stood there recording with his little camera flashing not responding to me except to shake his head. I asked him if it was because I was carrying a foil 2 balloon as I really couldn't see what his problem was. Then the others in my party became involved and with sheer frustration at this power tripping security guard it became heated and we asked for his name which he refused then we asked to speak to the manager. He refused. And yes I did swear at him through anger cos he was an absolute creep! I just want to warn others of treatment you may receive from this arrogant excuse for a human being. So the rest of my party left so they lost out on all our 5 entry fees and the ones that got in left when they knew I was refused entry. And apparently it was dead quiet in there. No wonder when they got people like that on the door. I know they radio each other from pub to pub and I did trip on a step in Pop World. Many people do in there that I know. I certainly was not behaving in a drunken manner at any point. No reflection on the team working inside Retro, this is purely my experience of security outside. If it happened to me there must be many more !!
