The consulate can be a little difficult to find if you are visiting for the first time so make sure to street view before going to your appointment. Parking is sparse so keep this in mind if you are traveling by car. You may have to park in the Cardiff Bay parking or within Cardiff town and walk / catch a bus to get to the consulate etc.In order to get your visa you will need to telephone and book an appointment in advance. You can check on the Cardiff consulate website for the type of visa you need and pricing but since I have been going pricing has increased with an added admin fee of 10.00. The staff are friendly and reliable. The consulate is normally busy but the visa process is swift. I have been to the consulate three times now and have always had my visa issued with no problems.
