Good stuff but a mess and overpriced. I took a comic to the till and it scanned at ten pounds instead of the advertised three! Also, the guy behind the till was dressed as a power ranger when I went in, which was a bit creepy.
Please don't waste your money. Having just read the reviews for this shop looks like I am not alone in being appalled by the lack of communication and total inefficiency of this business. I am no comic expert and ordered comics for my son off his birthday list. The comics arrived 6 weeks after his birthday having been ordered a week before and looks like I was charged 39.99 for a single comic when I thought I was getting a whole series. Having now done my research I have been totally ripped off, and like many others my emails and phone calls are getting ignored. Flabbergasted that this business is able to trade at this level of crapness. I just hope that people will read these reviews before they buy.
DO NOT USE - wish I'd read the reviews. Like many who have placed online orders the comics arrived badly packaged and damaged a month after it was placed. They didn't answer any of my communication attempts but thankfully I successfully claimed my money back through my credit card company. Many other reputable comic shop sellers to spend your money with - I advise you look there.
AWFUL. AWFUL. AWFUL. I have never left a review for anything before even when things have not been great but now feel compelled to warn other comic fans about this shop. Ordered 2 comics. Sent one. Phoned and emailed. No response at all. With the ridiculous postage charges Ive now paid nearly 10 for a new comic. Should have read the reviews before using this shop. Basic customer service seems beyond these guys.
I'm surprised at the bad reviews of this place, they're describing a completely different shop to me. I've been going for a few months now and always have a pleasant time there. The staff are friendly and easy to talk to. They have a fairly good stock of comic books, all of which are in tip-top condition. Great customer service. They always help me find which comic book I'm looking for. I'd definitely recommend going there.
